Looking for Something to Do This Summer?

MYTE is gearing up for summer. Our summer hours have been extended, but you must register for the classes in order to participate. Register for an unlimited number of classes only $5. Lunch will be included.
To register, please e-mail Serena Turley at serenat@centerlb.org.

Choose from the following classes:
Independent Living
We will offer two separate sections of this class to help you learn how to find an apartment, set a budget, shop for groceries, cook, mend clothing, iron, clean the house, and use public transportation.

STOMP
This one-week class teaches you how to drum and dance. There will be a final performance at the end.

Drama
A two-week writing and acting workshop. We will be writing our own play that will be performed at the end of the workshop.

Poetry & Creative Writing
We will offer two separate one-week writing workshops where you will learn poetry and creative writing techniques.

Other Registration Benefits:
MYTE Library
Registered MYTE members may check out books from the MYTE library. Our book club allows you to earn points for every book you read.

Computer Lab
Your MYTE member ID card allows you to use our David Bohnett Cyber Center for free.

Games Closet

You may use your MYTE member ID card to check out games from the game closet when group is not in session.

MYTE Bucks
You will receive one MYTE buck for every class that you attend. Each month, there will be a pool party for members with 10 bucks. At the end of the summer, you may redeem your bucks at the MYTE Store. We are also taking MYTE members with 250 bucks on a trip to Catalina in August. Earn extra bucks by participating in the book club or attending study hall on Fridays.
